There are a variety of games that one can choose to play in a casino. The choice is all yours and you will choose something that you are very comfortable with and feel lucky to win. Nonetheless, though everyone has their own preferences, not all these games are the same and do attract a big number of players. One of the most appreciated games in a casino is the game of blackjack.

The case is the same even with the online casinos. Online blackjack is a favourite for many who gamble online. There are quite a number of reasons why very many people love this game and would choose to play it over all the other many casino games. First of all, blackjack is a very entertaining game and easy to win. Once you know the basic rules and the tricks of playing the game, you will be good to earn some good amount of money.

To start with, we are going to help you understand the basic rules and strategy of playing and winning a game of blackjack. You first have to know that if you are going to play with the same rules as the dealer, the house is going to make 8.9% of the bets. For sure you wouldn’t want this to happen and so you must know what to do in order to lower the house percentage and increase your earnings. There is a strategy that is called the basic blackjack strategy that is able to reduce the house percentage to as low as zero. With this strategy, you will be guided on what to do when a certain card appears.

You should not worry on where you are playing the game, because this strategy applies with online casinos and the online blackjack game as well as the blackjack game on the land based casinos. Now back to the strategy: when a card appears with totals between five and 8, you should take a card against the dealer cards.

When the player totals are nine, then you should know that the dealer would most likely bust with a two. Thus if you are thinking of doubling: you should only do so when the dealer has a total of a 3, 5, 6 or 4.  If you have a total of 10, then, double your cards against those of the dealer except for an Ace or a 10. When you have a total of 12, there are quite a number of options for you. First you can take card against the dealer’s 3 or 2, and stand against 6, 5 or 4. When the dealer has 10, 9, 8, or 7, you can pick a card. With your totals at 16, 15, 14 or 13, and the dealer has 5,4,3,2 or 6 then stand. But if the dealer has 8, 9, 7 or 10; then you can pick a card against them. When you have totals of between 17 and 21, these are great totals because you have high chances of winning and thus you should stand against all dealer totals.
